Pickle Chic is still here

Hi guys. We’re all a little crazy from physical isolation but I wanted to let you know that Pickle Chic is still here and able to provide contact free delivery if you’re missing your Pickle Chic goodies. We’ve taken our online store offline for now, but you can order directly from us via chic@picklechic.com.au and letting me know what you’re after. Free delivery is available for orders of three jars or more in the local Newcastle area. Jars are $10 each for orders of 3+ jars. Orders of less jars are available for $12 each, pick up from North Lambton.

Newcastle, NSW based Pickle Chic grew up in country NSW. She started preserving quite a few years ago in a desperate attempt not to waste the bucket loads of seasonal produce that Poppy gleefully delivers to her doorstep or piles into the car boot when she’s visiting the farm - gleeful, because then he doesn’t have to spend too many hours preserving himself, hours that he could better spend outside. There are only so many preserves that you can eat yourself, so Pickle Chic started giving them away. A local P & C member suggested selling them through the school for fundraising. 18 months later: 600+ jars had been purchased with all proceeds donated to the school fundraiser. We made the decision that this is a good thing! In order to make it viable for the Chick as well as the school we decided to make a business out of it. View more posts
